SalsaVania was voted #2 BEST LATINO EVENT by the Reno News & Review in 2011 and Cinco de Mayo has traditionally been ranked #1. This year, we are combining forces to give you the BEST of latin music, dancing and entertainment at the newly upgraded CommRow.
This year will ...feature Grammy Award Winning singer Willy Torres from New York City. He has received various Grammy nominations and won 3 Grammys, most recently in 2010 for BEST TROPICAL ALBUM "The Spanish Harlem Orchestra - Viva La Tradicion".
SalsaVania is hosted by local dancer Vania Carter as an invitation to all lovers of Latin music, dancers, spectators and friends. The night will be filled with LIVE ENTERTAINMENT from WORLD-RENOWNED DANCERS, TWO SEPARATE DANCE ROOMS, FREE DANCE LESSONS, GRAMMY AWARD-WINNING MUSIC and more.....

Ridesharing: good for you, easier on planet

Sharing rides is good for socializing, lowers impact on the planet, and is more economical for you. Multiple cars meeting at the same rideshare location on Hwy 49 means you can likely catch a ride back at whatever time you wish to return (sometimes returning in a shared vehicle different than you rode down in). Please take special care not to distract your driver on Hwy 49, use headlights on Hwy 49, day and night, and contribute $ toward vehicle operating expenses ($5 r/t per passenger suggested) (Carpool RSVP appreciated, but not required)
